The Great Colleges to Work for Survey is sponsored by The Chronicle of Higher Education and ModernThink, LLC. It provides insights on the quality of the workplace experience and the competitiveness of the policies and benefits. It has great benchmarking capabilities. The survey consists of 60-statements and utilizes a five-point agreement scale grouped into 15 benchmarks. It also includes an 18-item benefits satisfaction component and two open-ended questions.
NSSE Survey
The National Survey of Student Engagement (NSSE) measures 1) the amount of time and effort student put into their studies and other educationally purposeful activities, 2) How the institution deploys its resources and organizes the curriculum and other learning opportunities to get students to participate in activities that decades of research studies show are linked to student learning.
First Destination Survey
The first destination survey provides information regarding students’ plans after graduation, including graduate school, employment, and salary.
